But, I consider it my good fortune to discover a channel like yours that I love! I live in Atlanta, but my heart is in England. I was adopted as a boy, never knew a thing about my heritage, but always loved England. I took three DNA tests and found I am 1/2 English! And Wiltshire is one of my favourite parts of the UK!  | Great video finale Sandy!. you're right the Drone footage did a lot of justice to the castle. your explanations previously were well put, but the drone footage. adds curvature to your fine descriptions. And made the adventure that much more enjoyable. And your advice per age and health were well put. I'm 76, and make my futile attempts to keep in shape , but no where near as fit as your are to go on a walk about. I"m limited to a "Step about" two in each direction, and then rest. Well we all have our limits and devices don't we. Thanks again Sandy for a most enjoyable adventure. you 've done it again.! Thanks for doing it and thanks for sharing.  | At 6:35 sandy you passed the sign for the underground fuel line that’s supplying the airports. This was dug in WW2 & at night!! The system is still used today.  | You have a wonderful dog there Sandy. So much spirit in such a small body Elsa. You just can't ask for a more loyal friend or companion than a trusty little dog. I think that humans have a lot to be learned from the dedication and unconditional love that is shown from our pets. It is just so much of a shame that they are not blessed with a little longer life span though. All you can do is try to return the love and happiness that they provide us as much as you can during the years that they are with us. Thanks for sharing your adventurous day with us my friend.  | Sandy, Another interesting location, the fort appears to be an old bronze age hill fort, but if you looked from the air shots you noticed it was built on by the Normans, and probably a wooden stockade (temp)... It was good to see Elsie moving so energetically for 17 years old... I really miss being across the pond and not able to do these adventures any more, although not the mud and rain! LOL.
