The car is invisible on the road because it is black, simple. Paint it a visible colour and people won't cut it off !! Комментарий от : @johnelove4714 |

Beautiful car! That fin on the BACK is amazing, and the third headlight really fits the style, because it is slightly forward of the other two, with the perfect front curving forward, emphasizing this light! A car that is one of the best things money can buy. Комментарий от : @nygelmiller5293 |
epic ethos and passion, what a guy, great story Комментарий от : @UrbanoModa |

Volkswagen? Co je to?„ Tu otázku – „Co to sakra je?“ – si návštěvníci Paulova světa často kladou. Jeho obchod ve východním Los Angeles je oslavou všeho starého, starého, a jak Paul sám přiznal, podivného: kabriolet Škoda Felicia čeká na restaurování, půl tuctu jukeboxů Seeburg a Wurlitzer, a dokonce, uprostřed kongregace Indi...:-)) Комментарий от : @57slanecek |

Wooo 0:27 and 0:58 Felicia .. had one of those roadsters in RED (the one here is that blue one below VW). But main motive here is amazing T87 TATRA. Never had a chance to drive it, but it IS amazing piece of car making history. Not just because I was born in Czechoslovakia. I'm glad there are people who cares about those precious gems. I love this video, I think it's my favorite, partly because of nostaglia. I worked in NELA, near the Highland Park area for a few months back in '17 and I drove by that house several times! Those cars always got my attention especially the Rambler hardtop. Paul is amazing. Thank you for sharing. Комментарий от : @wlwd2 |
This I such a tremendous car that it’s really hard to find words to describe. Strange that in the 1930’s two completely opposite cars was made which both pointed towards the future, and then the future sadly forgot about them (probably because the war came). The cars I am talking about are the Citroën Traction Avant and the Tatra T87. The two most imaginative creations of the decade. I salute their creators. What a refreshing, honest, transparency Mr. Paul Greenstein has regarding his enthusiasm and ownership of these old vehicles from the past, Petrolicious. I bet he would be an absolute pleasure to meet in person. Thank you for sharing. :) Комментарий от : @therainforest4314 |

What a fabulous car. I have never seen anything like this. And the history of the car, it's designers, wind tunnel and more are the BEST!! Will you get the other Tatras at least running and driving? I think I should make a trip to the Czech republic and see what other weird and cool stuff they have! Great video, thanks Комментарий от : @DougATV |
This guy is like, ridiculously Californian, it's brilliant. Комментарий от : @vandelayofficial492 |
As a Czech, I really appreciate that Petrolicious have included T87 on the list. Being one of the most significant European motoring pioneers, Tatra undoubtedly deserves this honor. Thank you in the name of all Czech petrolheads! Now I can't wait for you to make a movie about our beloved beauty, 1950's Czech state of the art, Tatra 603... :) Комментарий от : @LinoBru |
Thank you for introducing us to such a special pair—man and car! Комментарий от : @chrispza |
Even a Tatra! Your videos are fantastic... Very nice owner. Комментарий от : @CarlosOliveira-cj3iz |
Just FYI Tatra had never made aircraft engine with more than four cylindres. The aircooled engine is a speciality of Tatra even nowadays, they have developed air cooled diesel complient with EURO 5 and developing diesel air cooled engine compliant with EURO 6. And engine in fabulous T87 is "just" a predecessor. And believe or not, it was designed right and only for T87. Комментарий от : @pavelprochazka4219 |
Wow, great guy, I love Tatras too. Greetings from Poland! Комментарий от : @zbigniew1474 |

The Tatra looks almost new! I enjoyed every minute of your video. Many have said that there are comparisons between the Tatra and VW, and of course there is. But there is another car that had (almost) taken the shape of the T87. This was the British Jowett Javelin. The Jowett had an engine (flat four) at the front, but check out the similarities in body style and shape of the Jowett with the Tatra. I believe that Jowett (without the Dorsal Fin) got their body design 'inspiration' from the Tatra! Greetings from Australia. Комментарий от : @peterduxbury927 |
This is one of those great characters, he could be in a Coen Brothers movie. He should open up a museum, that way he can keep his interesting stuff and share it with others at the same time. Комментарий от : @writerconsidered |
Oh and thanks for saving the car for future generations :) Комментарий от : @Lu-KN |

Hanzelka and Zikmund drove Tatra 87 not only through Africa. They finished Africa leg in Cape Town, then crossed the Atlantic and drove through South and Central America to Mexico. Imagine that! They had no parts replaced driving over 110k km and 44 countries for 3 years (imagine the roads of the time!). The transmission almost died, but they finished the journey and drove Tatra back into Prague. Truly fascinating expedition ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanzelka_and_Zikmund). To me T87 is the most amazing car ever made. Комментарий от : @NikolaiKa |
beautifull congrats!! Комментарий от : @ricardojmalbran7539 |

Such a great guy and great car! Комментарий от : @NenadTrajkovic |
A man of good taste. Anyone can/should appreciate that. Комментарий от : @hornetbrown |
Some say that producing this car in 1941 was a secret plan of the Czech resistance to kill as many German officers as possible as a lot of these were confiscated by top German brass during the war. Little did they know that due to the heavy V8 and dodgy rear axle design the car flipped into over steer and turned over when least expected! Комментарий от : @planpitz4190 |
I love the car and his philosophy. Комментарий от : @tonyberardi3829 |
Can we get back to this guy? What's he doing now ? Pet. you got to start doing follow ups ! Hello! Комментарий от : @JohnAnderson4242 |

And the fact that it IS all about the passion........that is how I feel when fixing or adding an item or servicing my car or a friends car.......It isnt about the $$$, It is ALL about the passion......I feel great passion when I can do a fabulous detailing on the exterior of a car or truck and the owner loves it !! Whoever made this short fantastic movie deserves an Oscar. Комментарий от : @user-ft2md2gd4s |
I've always been fascinated by the Tatra cars, ever since I read an article about them in a 1960s edition of the UK Car magazine. I note the remarks below about Hans Ledwinka and the settlement that VW oh so quietly paid to Tatra for patent infringements. Комментарий от : @promerops |
Tatra a real volkswagen or porsche ! why? because a VW Beetle is a pure copy of Tatra T 97 Комментарий от : @altergreenhorn |
Masterful video! Комментарий от : @TheAslakVind |
The car is horrible as fuck, just like comunism Комментарий от : @carlos-m20 |
This car was called "The nazi killer", because its lightness and power that german officers were not used to. They usually ended up in horrible crashes. Tatra made a great job, as always. Greetings from Czech Republic. Комментарий от : @neuzdost1939 |

Love the number plate :) Комментарий от : @oifovo |
Wasn't this or some other modle of Tatra titled "Nazi killer?" Because SS officers rode in it, but when you crashed with this car, it was unavoidable death. Комментарий от : @oomerimunni |
Well here i am, sitting at home, trying to take a look at what comes up if i type Tatra into the internets. Will it be just Dakar stuff? And the first thing that i come accorss it this video. And i was amazed. I didn't want to click the Like button, but there's no Love button, so... Комментарий от : @Kropikovo |
