Great stuff, and thank god you chose not to put that annoying music on the video. It's my pet hate. It ruins every single video.

@neilfarrimond8910
Hi I enjoyed watching. I am due to do last section of Cape Wrath Trail last week of April, COVID allowing! However if we have to postpone I May do C2C later in year. I used the Osprey Aether 70 on CWT but feel I need something lighter. I see you are using the Exos is it the 48 or 58 lit? How do you find the bag? What pack weight did you carry for C2C?
All the best
Neil

No music is the perfect and correct way to enjoy nature. Thank you for a good video. I turned off three others because of the music and I’m now enjoying your series.

@davidginn7072
Sandy, a question. I have only just started walking with a pole/ poles Im 64 and after years of walking I have discovered the advantages, but I notice in your video you somehow walk with them by your left armpit, how do you attach them to I guess your back pack. Now I know you are a very popular guy so I fully understand if I dont get a reply for that reason.D

@MrPianoKnee
Just completed your video trilogy. I really enjoyed it and your perception and commentary. Wonderful scenery and the feet-on-the-ground experience was well conveyed. Thanks for letting us hear all the sounds. I like music but it is seldom relevant in most of the videos on YouTube. It was a good decision to preserve the soundtrack. There were many wonderful sounds. May this be a good example for other YouTubers. Congratulations on the completion. I hope and trust your shoes treated your feet well and that you are in better shape for having walked 192 miles. I am sure your soul is. You are a good man.

@martinkavanagh196
Quite an achievement that walk .. but I'm glad you didn't linger for long in the sea at St. Bees - as they find a lot of nuclear contamination on the beach there from "Sellafield" and it's associated nuclear waste dumps.

@Wildcamping101
Sandy, quick question... do you know if there is anywhere along the route other than Grasmere where you can buy the freeze dried camping meals. I’ve packed enough for each day but ideally I was hoping to take maybe half and stock up again in Richmond or somewhere. Any thoughts would be welcome 👍🏼 thanks again. Craig

@thomasmusso1147
Hi there from a South African living in Rheinfelden Switzerland 👋😊.
A great Part 1 .. thank you. Nice to see you eating 'Biltong' .. a traditional South African Delicacy / National Sport 😁. Although, the packaged stuff, whilst better than nothing, does not even come close to the original Product, wrapped in brown paper. A lower arm length and as wide .. about an inch thick, slightly 'wet' inside with a nice strip of yellow fat running down one side. Sliced off in bite-sized chunks with a pocket knife (my one SAK has a specific blade that from the early 70's has only ever sliced Biltong). Yumm .. Food of the Gods.
I like your idea with the screw-top jar lid and the fire rope .. must try it. I currently use the same type of lids in various sizes (for different heat outputs .. each fits nicely inside the other for storage .. together with a little folding Esbit Stove and all stored in a Military Webbing Compass Pouch). My fuel source therein is an Alcohol-based Fuel Gel ('Sicherheidsbrennpaste') .. freely available here as Table-Top Cheese Fondues and such are a Swiss National Pastime. Cheaper than the Esbit Tabs and very easy and safe to use. Will stop now .. I'm rambling 😉.
Nice Posting .. thanks. Will get onto Part 2 .. am looking forward to more please.
Take care .. Tommy
